I need to mod my power steering line / hose to clear up room to connect the AC line to the compressor.
The SS line runs straight down and blocks the compressor port.
Would it be possible to bend the line up a little, thinking it might collapse it?
Or just get a 45 or 90 AN adapter?
Any other ideas?

looks to me like you could move the metal line outward a little and find room. You shouldn't have bend it enough to kink it.

Could make up your own from scratch with PTFE line.

The steering hose is laying on the port, that's a plastic protector cap.
I need to add adapter fittings on the compressor, so the steering hose needs to move away quite a bit.
Here's a reference pic with the adapters on a compressor.

Not sure what size the line is but a tube bender similar to this will make that a simple task they're available in a number of sizes. I prefer the dedicated size ones vs the one size does all wink

Don't know what the top connection of the steel line looks like, but it appears to me that the entire length could be rotated outward, away from the inner fender, and routed on the other side of the plastic tab at the top, and the hose at the bottom and have more clearance all around.

Follow up, used a 45 JIC fitting, and it provides the clearance needed.
Been driving with no leaks, need to get motivated and build the AC lines, summer is almost here……
