I had the battery in my 2004 Ram die while the truck was parked. Got the battery replaced and then the ETC light flashes and the engine has a rough idle. I found a procedure for resetting the ETC, basically just turn the key on, cycle the gas pedal to WOT and back and then turn the key off. Is that all it takes or is there more to it?

I believe you have to turn the ignition on then slowly press the pedal 3 times, (not sure if that's accurate or not) then turn off the ignition.

Kayse can't keep up at all now. lol

I just cycled the gas pedal once time to the floor and back then turned the ignition back off. I waited a few moments for everything to update and then turned the key back on and started the engine. The check light turned off and the engine idle was fine so I took it for a short drive. Everything seemed to work fine.
