I have decided that I want to epoxy paint underneath my car and I'm also going to paint the engine bay the color of the car. To do these two jobs will this compressor size be adequate?

It is one they sell at Harbor Freight for $440.00 - 29 Gallon, 4 HP, 14.5 CFM at 90 PSI.

After tax and accessories I will be into it for over $500.00 and that is all I can afford.

I was hoping that it would be enough. Here is the one I'm looking at:

Make sure you pic up a good water trap while you are there. I also have a hose I use just for painting.

Ah...so many pedestrians, so little time...

I think it will be good for everything ie Painting, airtools, media blasting, and even a blasting cabinet.

Look for a toilet paper filter. These work great on small compressors. Years ago I had a copper pipe about 8 feet long coiled in a 5 gal bucket filled with water. this would cool the air so the hot humid moisture could be seperated then I had it go througt the paper filter to take out more water and oils from compresser worked great for little cash. I think the paper filter was about 60.00 or so. Clean air is very important.

I'll do the job just fine, not sure how well it's put together, but it should be enough for your project
