Did they switch from the square knob to the straight line handle or is this a standard dash ash tray or are Rallye dash ash trays same as standard dash? Or a Dodge vs. Plymouth deal. It is shaped like the rallye dash one but all I see have the common looking square knob/handle. Thanks in advance.

I have seen rallye dash ash tray with both style knobs. I have both styles currently. I have seen very few with the knob pictured above and do not know when and what plants they were used.

It appears to be for rallye dash. See photo of one I have attached. I measured 4 7/8" tall. The difference in rallye and non rallye is pretty slight. One is taller than the other.....can't remember which though.

Square knob pic for thread posterity.

For WM and WS-w/rallye, at least the ones I have taken notice of or have photos of are square knob. Any build date/plant where I have that info.

The few WS-w/sweep and WP I have pics of are square knob as well, but (coincidentally) they look to either protrude out or fit uneven at the bottom. Not enough to go by, but maybe the non-rallye face plate is shorter.
