6bblgt I Live Here Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 17,516 Las Vegas, NV	here's a pair of 1969 valve covers for a 273/318 2bbl engie (in original paint "turquoise") & a pair of 1969 valve covers for a 340 4bbl engine (incorrectly painted orange) the 340 has a taller bracket on the LH cover & a heat shield on the RH cover

karengarneau member K Joined: Feb 2016 Posts: 72	wow I did not know that there was a difference between 318/340 valve covers. now that I know I will be on the look out for them. I have a pair of 1970 340 covers and after looking at them I noticed that the pass side cover has that heat shield. the drivers side has a different style of oil filler cap. my question is.... are the pass covers identical from 69/70 as they appear to be to me. always eager to learn more about our hobby. thanks for your help
