Need a new radiator in my 67 Belvedere. Not concerned with originality. First looked at Be Cool at Summit, but inlet and cooler ports were in the wrong locations. Looks like I can get one from year one for about $350 or Classic for about $300 (plus shipping on both. Both have 10% codes right now).

Are there better deals out there? Should I contact Summit or Be Cool to see if there are better fit options. I haven't had to buy a radiator in many years. Any help is appreciated.

ECP radiators

I have champion radiators in 2 of my cars, my wife car, my sister and father in law each have one as well. Nice radiators for the money.

Understood. That's why I'm asking. ECP looks pretty good and I like that they have a nice detailed drawing with dimensions. That may be the one i go with.

I looked at Champion, but they didn't look right for mine.

If you're able to do a search, this has come up before. You might be able to read some of the threads, and see which ones to stay away from.

got a Champion for my 65 with hot 440.Cools great for 150 bucks shipped from Ebay.Only thing i had to get was a educer for botton hose from 1 3/4 to 1 1/2.It was like 7 bucks at Advance.Rocky

Put a champion in my 67 Belvedere 4 yrs ago it was a direct fit.

I have the ECP in my challenger. Cools great I did have to masage the lower mounting holes a bit. also the factory shroud attached fine too.

Thanks, guys. I did a little more searching here and google. Seems most people are happy with ECP. Only complaints seem to be some mine trimming on 26" radiators and some guys on H.A.M.B. said the fins were thin.

Champion has radiators with the hose connections on either side. Go to their website to find the rad you need, then price it out through ebay. Gene

I'll contact them tomorrow. Their site lists 67-70 Belvedere SB, but the pictures aren't for the description, the description has the outlet on the wrong side, and then at the bottom it says compatible with 70+ b bodies.

After digging around on their site, I found what looks right under the American Eagle section, not Champion, and it's out of stock.

for what ever this is worth, over the years looking at aluminum radiators [downflow or crossflow] i have determined almost all list for "chevrolet" [inlet at bottom right-passenger side, outlet top left-driver's side]. then, if you ask, "ford"[mopar] is available in all their product styles for a couple of bucks more [inlet at bottom left, outlet at top right].

I got a Champion off ebay. I'll report back on it.

Well, with one small exception the radiator dropped right in, and fit great. Mounting slots were too far apart vertically. Had to raise the lower slots about 1/4". Otherwise, it seems to be doing good, plus I finally replaced the leaky waterneck.

I haven't taken the car very far, just a few short trips and some idling in the drive way. I've got a new transmission leak that I need to look for. Seems like that thing finds a new place leak every other year or so. I can't think of any seals that haven't been replaced at least once. Oh, well, I'll figure it out when I have more time to crawl under it.
