Need both 360 and 318/340 versions.

Aren't they like $16 from the dealership?

The one's I see on Summit are too pricey.

They are reusable and they are too pricey. That's a good one.

You just want it all don't you. You do realize the ones from Summit come with a little dude in the box who jumps out and installs the gaskets for you.

Now tell us where you found a 1 piece for a 318 LA, nit the Magnum, the LA.

If they are only $16 at the dealer then you should buy them there. I'm not so sure that the parts counter guy will know what you're asking for, but you might just get lucky.

is there a one piece oil pan gasket for the 340?

the 318 / 360 magnum motors have one - not the 318 / 340 last time I checked.

Yeah Dave,I was just looking at the 360 on Summit and didn't realise they didn't have a 318 version...

There was a thread I remembered on these but can't find it saying they were available (at least for 360) at the dealership.

Andy I will give it a shot.

As for the snide comments, guess your mothers didn't teach you right, but mine did,so I'll leave it up to your imaginations what you can do with them.

I did get a chuckle thinking of a "gasket monkey" emerging from a Summit Racing box, though.

Years ago, I remember seeing a one piece oil pan gasket # offered for the 340s in the mopar performance catalog. The last time I went in to check on the availability/part # (this was a few years back too), I was handed a long thin box with a four piece gasket set in it. It had the part # on it for the (as described) one piece 318/340 gasket. Never saw anything about it again.
I would sure like to see one made though!

Summit doesn't list a one piece oil pan gasket for a 360 LA either, it does list one for the 5.9 Magnum though and they are not the same.

My momma didn't teach me to coddle ignorance, did yours? Now you know and will never forget that a Magnum engine, regardless of displacement, uses the same oil pan gasket and it's a 1 piece. You also now know there is no 1 piece oil pan gasket for any LA engine. Pay attention to the application listings.

Shorty I will tomorrow.
This is precisely the reason I don't come here much anymore. Too many people that think they can act any way they want behind a keyboard.
I come to Q&A to learn and sometimres share my own experience ,not to have some anonymous ego try to belittle me from thousnds of miles away.
A simple answer minus the attitudes would have been fine, but I guess good manners aren't as common as they should be.
