Eastwood tank tone, gas tank paint. That's what I used.


I used it in many places. Like on those brackets for the rear axle bumpers.

The shaft actually appears to be dull chrome plated (like the center section of a 68-70 b-body woodgrain wheel) and the aluminum bracket is painted. Challenger 1's recomendation will probably duplicate both. Or find a shaft that is not pitted and paint the base.
