I have the single 4 barrel base on my 70 cuda crate hemi ralley hood car. The base comes with a very long neck (the part that sits on top of the carb) which you have to trim to suit your needs. I had to cut the whole neck off to get the base to sit low enough. I used a steel lid from northwest (shakerhood.com). All in all I was satisfied with the product. Good luck. Charlie.

You are aware member "PAINT IT BLACK" owns Hybrid Fiberglas Solutions right? PM him & he can fix you up..... He's done a few for friends of mine, they have been very happy...

I've had 2 of Hybrids 6 pak aircleaners over the years, I've been running one of the Hybrid T/A base units for quite a few years now, fit and finish were very good, minimal prep for use, rugged construction, no failure of the product in my application,.....no ones even noticed it wasn't a factory steel unit,...money well spent IMHO

Steve is a great guy and helped me out to get my baseplate situated. He couldn't spare the time for my setup because there isn't a large calling for it but I bought the stock dual quad Hemi setup and cut out the holes and reset them to my 440+8 application. Fits fantastic under the hood, cleared my wiper motor, my fuel lines, MSD dizzy, and even with a 1/2" phenolic under each carb the hood sits just about right and clears the hood. I used the K&N filter because I am in BFE and I want just one air cleaner, not a perfect fit but It looks good in the engine bay. Steve will set you up with what you need and will help you along the way. I never worked with fiberglass before but I reset it using duct tape and more fiberglass and it looks fantastic. Here is a before, during, and after shot.
