Hello,

I'm getting ready to put my transmission and engine together and into the car. Still deciding what convertor to put in.

I have a factory High Stall convertor out of a 78ish maybe 79 Aspen R/T with a 360.

My engine is a 76 440, and the trans is a 73 727.

I can see splines clear to the end of the convertor.

That will go right in right? There isn't a chance that it is a lock-up or something is there?

I am using a B/M (I think) SFI flexplate and I want everything to go together smoothly.

Thank you, ROB

If you had the #'s off the trans from the Aspen that might tell you if it was a lock up or not.

I would almost bet the farm that it won't work. The Aspen will most likely have a 999 transmission and will also more than likely be a lock up.
