Instrument Cluster from 1974 Dodge Truck, the Coolant and Fuel Gauges seem to test Ok, there is Continuity between the posts, but unlike those two, the Oil Pressure Gauge does not move when 5-Volt current is applied and there is no Continuity, current does not flow between the Posts when using the Multitester.

Has anyone taken one apart and repaired one of these? Could I take a working Coolant Temperature Gauge and swap the Face (are the Gauges the Same, except for the Face, or are they Different and Calibrated differently?)

I have a fairly complete Spare identical instrument cluster, but it doesn't have an Oil Pressure Gauge.

On a fairly tight budget on this and sending it out for recondition is not an acceptable choice. Also, don't want this to take weeks to solve. I suppose I could look at Pick A Part or ask around.

Anyone have experience with these?

I have already upgraded the Voltage Limiter and the other gauges, lights, etc are all now working.

Worst case, I will need a cheap autoparts store aftermarket gauge.

I did it. Used an oil pressure gage from a dodge van I found at pull apart. Bet you can't tell it from a stock gage. I just used my old face (no wise cracks please). BUT, I still run a autometer gage under the dash for accuracy. Cost me $5.00 because i also pulled the other gages.

I have a 3635176 oil pressure gauge you can have for the shipping if it's the one you need. Tested with battery and it moves.
