I have a 66 Barracuda that I need to do the rear brakes on. Where do you folks go for your rear brakes shoes, hardware, wheel cylinders, etc?

Autozone.

Try rockauto.com too.

So the rear brakes are 10" x 1 3/4". Did these come stock on a 66 Barracuda?

The reason I ask is is I hate going into an auto parts store and asking for parts for something this old. They usually don't have a clue.

The parts stores usually have all that stuff. 10x1 3/4 is common A body size through mid seventies.

Thanks for the input guys! So if I tell him 66 barracuda, he'll be able to pull up the correct parts?

Do you folks know of a good source for sbp 10" drums?

The drums are out there but hard to get. I once had to get a couple for a napa parts employee that could not find them. (that was 8 years ago, don't know how hard they are to find now)

Well it looks like autozone has everything I need. Everything but drums!

I can't find them anywhere.

Does anyone know where I can get 10 x 1.75" sbp drums?

mopowers,

I got my 10" X 1 3/4" rear drums (small bolt pattern) from www.rockauto.com
They are a Wagner BD60123 part.

Thanks for the part number. Unfortunately, Rockauto.com no longer carries them

I'll do some searching to see if anyone else carries that part #.
