I have a 74 Dart Sport with a 727. The speedo is stock and the trans has the metal speedo gear holder. I looked over 4-5 Chrysler 904 and 727 trannys and they all have the same hook up on the transmission end.

The cable is 80" long or so and it needs a hex head that is about 3/4" ID end on the tranny side.

I went to the parts house and their cable was the same as mine except it had a small serated end that was like .5 in diameter.

Where can I get the right cable that will fit the first time? Preferably over the counter?

Does anyone have a part number?

Thank you, ROB

Try Napa Part Number BK 6151659 but it's 68" long.
