Just ordered this one, anyone have reference pics of where and with what to attach this to the engine - '70 E body 383 w-A/C?

Think it goes on the cast support/mounting piece on the back of the compressor or the compressor itself????

Thanks Mike and Bill - both of you have always been good to me and I appreciate you and will try to ever return the favor, so I should have checked on my car's compressor. This as in many of the threads I've started are always intended to bring out the vaulted knowledge for the rest who are also in need of the same golden info.

To stray - when on Bill Rolik's Mopar resto site where I purchased the spring return bracket, (thanks BRE! arrived today!) (BRE = $14 & CAS = $42 ) I see that the two coil mounting bracket bolts differ on BB w-A/C - they're longer then BB w/out A/C, any clues as to why?

I thought it was only one LONGER WITH A/C for a support strap to share that mounting point? Not in this photo but that support strap or should I say coil mount should be in the same place or at least I think it should

I found the photo from the '69 survivor Super Bee that shows the support strap to the coil mount bracket.....

I checked the compressor here and the return spring bracket is painted black, no wonder I over-looked it. It looks like in your pic Bill, when the line workers removed the intake manifold bolt where the support bracket attaches they replaced the painted bolt with either a black or natural un-painted bolt.

And MikeR, thanks again and for the newest pics, yes the a/c compressor support bracket for '70 is like the '69, and would only require one longer bolt as you stated.

Noticed that the compressor here is missing the cap for the shrader valve, anyone got one extra they can spare??!! Any leads on a new one?
