Will also need a slit to the outside edge perpendicular to the sill plate. Do they just cut as needed and use some kind of edging to keep the ends from unraveling? Any pictures would be helpful. Thanks.

Leon441 master Joined: Nov 2004 Posts: 4,330 Lynchburg, VA	Like to use carpet that has no backing. The edges do not ravel on this type of carpet. Just cut with a razor blade. A bolt hole for belts can be made with a large punch. Just heat the punch with torch and poke it through. Leon Career best 8.02 @ 169 at 3050# and 10" tires small block power.

I don't have a problem with this since it makes it easier. I already pull the backing off because of the additional weight.
