Everytime I see a video like this I have to supress the urge to build a turbo slanty ;-)

Awesome! I suppose this is a very expensive build, correct?

You would be surprised.

Reliant runs 130-135 with a 4-cyl and the most expensive part was the turbo, $800 or so.

Slantys seem to like boost just like the 2.2/2.5 engines, life begins at 25+ psi =)

Interesting. I'm following along, but his is the hemi 6, so I would suppose a slant build might be a little different.

Is it iron or aluminum headed?

Be interesting to know his combo, that sure is moving!

(Once I am completely done with Torana build I'm going to bring over another Valiant to do up...)

Nice!

I've got a fresh ported 245 head in the shed I've been holding onto for "some day"

Figure when the time comes, might get the guy I know at Speedworks (In Ringwood) to do the machine work on a 265 and send it over with what ever car I buy, and I'll finish it off over here...

Wow, you are up late

Thanks for the offer

I've got a decent amount of stuff here that I've been saving up actually. A few engines, the ported head, bunch of different intakes (including a complete 6 pack setup) spare cranks, a new Romac balancer, gaskets, heads, etc,etc

I work with a mate in Melbourne as an exporter by trade actually.. (and have brought a bunch of stuff back this way of course as well.) and have been over there a heap of times too myself.

Just getting ready to load another batch of containers in a couple weeks time actually (my mate there is just unloading the last ones we sent this week coming)

My driveway from a few years ago...just your average yanky driveway I guess? lol..

My couple of Toranas, Charger (orange one, you can just see it on the left side towards the shed), and VG coupe...

Had a VF ute after that, and another VG as well. (and other Chargers) Just have the red Torana left now though.

The question is do you HAVE to take the boy out of Oz? Some people think he should really stay there just a wee bit longer.

That's great! How much does it weigh? What kind of gas? Pics of the engine compartment would be great.

Sure is an impressive setup he has!

For those don't know what it compares with, here is my old Charger's pretty much stock engine back with factory sixpack setup on it. (factory valve cover too)
