I was told to install my TB from the rear of the crossmember forward. Only can go in from the rear.
I was just laying under car and I can install them from the front or rear of the crossmember socket.
If this is ok this will make putting the boots on easier rather than trying to do it on my back.
So I guess my question is is it ok to put the boots on and slide it down to what will be the rear socket and slide the TB on from the front of the crossmember?
FWIW the LCA are not installed yet, 1.00 bars from Just Suspension
Thnx

If you have the room, and don't have to bend them, go for it. I've always slid them in from the back.

I put the boots on outside the car & slide them in from the front... BTW throw the boots in some boiling water grab them out with tongs, wear gloves & use lube... They really are a PITA to stretch over the hex...

I've always done it from the front, installing or removing.

Yeah if you have enough susp removed up front 2 where you can get em in from the front as it lessens the chance of a nick from inserting the whole length from the rear (though rare but why take chances if you dont have to) & as mentioned it lets u slide the boot on the rear end of the tbar outside the car which is always easier
