I put the boots on outside the car & slide them in from the front... BTW throw the boots in some boiling water grab them out with tongs, wear gloves & use lube... They really are a PITA to stretch over the hex...

Yeah if you have enough susp removed up front 2 where you can get em in from the front as it lessens the chance of a nick from inserting the whole length from the rear (though rare but why take chances if you dont have to) & as mentioned it lets u slide the boot on the rear end of the tbar outside the car which is always easier
