Hello,

I'm trying to hook up my three piece kickdown setup. The lower rod that goes from the pivot bracket to the upper tranny arm seems to short.

Can any one give me the measurement of the lower rod? Length from socket to the angle, then angle to the pivot "nub"

Thanks!! for any and all help!!

Mark

The ones I have all measure 3 3/4" from the center of the socket to the center of the bend, from the center of the bend to the center of the "nub" is 5 3/8".

Mine seems short as well. It works, but the threaded ends sure weren't catching by all that much at all. I just cut the rod and welded it longer. Works great.

i have several sets of links-you must match bracket and carb. but its no problem to measure and fabricate/cut/weld/or thread.I know what works on a 68 coronet 440 motor with a 750 ed.I suppose I could tapeline it for ya.

Mine measures as posted above.

I don't get the travel to fully push back the upper tranny arm. It will go an additional one inch. Also when I put the 3/16 pin in the intake bracket and pivot bracket I have almost zero movement forward.

I'm thinking I need to add one inch to the lower link.

Does this seems to be what everyone else has done?

Thanks,
Mark
