I would seriously consider using the guy who just finished my Dart. I sent him a photo pack of all angles and this is what he did, notice even the roll bar and Caltracs are visible Check it out:

That is very nearly too cool ! Pricey ?
Does he need a kit to start , or is that from scratch ?
I think that is pretty awesome.

I sent him a hardtop kit, but not sure if he used it to make a sedan or not. $200 which I think for that kind of craftsmanship is quite reasonable.

Reasonable , bordering on bargain.
I nearly picked up a plastic '66 Cyclone when we had that car....these were promotional items the dealers got , and they used to be around 100.00 some 20 years after the model year. I wish I would have gotten it now......luxury of hind sight etc. etc.
But for a replica of the real McCoy , I'd say 200 is more than fair.
Now...........to track down a '65 Dart GT kit.

The guy has a lot of kits, so if you are interested just go to the PSCA site and leave him a post or PM me and I'll do it for you since I think you might need to be a member to post there.

The 62 Dart was a Jo-Han offering from a few years ago, it shouldn't be too hard to locate one. The 65 Dart GT will probably have to be a resin kit, as I don't recall a plastic offering. If anyone does want to do their car, check with me as I've got a couple hundred Mopar kits I'd be glad to part with without the collector sticker shock. When you 25 you're gonna build them all, now, at 55, ain't gonna happen.

That's very nice. I build models at that level. Wish I could sell them at $200 a pop. But seriously your build was pretty straight forward... No CRAZY graphics or odd wheels or anything out of the ordinary. Still, a VERY nice built model kit.

Model Car World just came out with one.

I've done their resin '63 Dodge 330 and it was a really nice piece!

http://www.mcwautomotivefinishes.com/resin/newstuff.html

DOD-66sd 1966 Dodge Coronet 2dr. Sedan (1/25th scale) $40.00 (body, hood, bumpers & grill, bench seat int., wheels & hubcaps, & vac. glass) Use Revell '67 Coronet R/T Ht. kit for all other parts.

With Drag decals - Chicagoland Dodge Boys $48.00

Let's see some of your work. I'd love to get a model of my Daytona built.

Did my oun a few years back in 1/24th scale. Had to "kit bash' 4 other Mopar kits to get what I wanted. This is a resin body 64 as the 64 Dodge models had not come out yet when I built this one.

Cris, where were you looking? Plastic models of a 64 Dodge have been available since at least the early seventies. The Jo-Han kit has been around forever and the Lindbergh for around ten years.

The Jo-Han kits were of a Polara ( different roof line than the 330 ) and the Lindberg kit were - bad ( poor scale). The "Color Me Gone" kit is a newer Revell kit.
