Think This can be done with 4.5 Backspacing on an 15x8 rim? I was told will will fit with 4.75 backspacing but dont have the time to get a wheel widened....

Can't see that working unless you have the leaf spring relocation kit.

Biggest tire I have heard of on a 67 and up dart with the stock leaf spring location is a 245-60-15 with the fender lips rolled in.

My 74 has 255/60/15 tires mounted on Dodge Mirada aluminum rims, that are 15x7 I think 4.5 back space.
I have to run a 5/16ths spacer.
