I want to put a set of 15 inch steel wheels on the rr - will the dog dish caps still fit and if so - what year wheels can I go with. Guessing 15 inch original wheels are outragous -

go to the junk yard and get some 15's off an 80's or older van or truck. Cost is pennies to dollars compared to after market. There are folks that resize the rims to any dimension you want. The dog dish will work.

rims off of 80's diplomats, gran furys and 5th ave's are all 15x7 with 4.25" backspace, and can usually be found in junkyards for $100/set or less.

4x4 trucks after '80 and all trucks/vans after '85 are the wrong bolt pattern (5x5.5 vs. the car/older 5x4.5)

70's 15" rims tend to be 15x6 or 15x6.5

every mopar muscle car ive ever tried has fit the 80's diplomat wheels easily. and my old cop car and red stripe dodge dog dishes fit fine.
