I have recently replaced the front brake hoses on a 67 Coronet with 11" drum brakes. The new hoses did not come with new copper crush washers so I re-used the washers that were on the wheel cylinder/old hose. My problem is I cannot seem to get the brakes to bleed properly. I continually have a REAL soft pedal, so soft the car is not driveable. Do I need to go back and install new crush washers?

Never reuse the copper crush washers even if they look OK. Replacing the crush washers would be a good first step.

But that is not your problem. Either your brakes are not adjusted right or not bleed right.
