Has anyone purchased one of these? I'd like to have one for my 71-X, but the $600 price tag is keeping me from it.

Are they any good? What kind of warranty? Who has the best prices/discounts on them?

What's different about the originals versus the repros? Good working originals aren't worth that much money...

I was thinking about one for my car but was put off by the price, also I think the body of the radio is not as long as the originals

It looks like they made the box only as big as needed for the modern insides. Looks like early A & B body AM radios.
