I was wondering if the weight of Darts throughout the years were significantly or even a little bit different throughout they years. Like the weight of Darts pre-63, from 63-66, from 67-69, and from 70-76. Let's just say they all have a slant-six or their drive train has been gutted. Which would the order be from lightest to heaviest? Just curious. Thank you.

You have them categorized correctly, the ones in each category were pretty much the same to a certain extent & as you know each group was heavier than the last & no opinion/info on the pre '63 darts
Ok, so basically they got heavier and heavier as time went on. I know the pre-63 Darts were different each year.

The Pre-63 Darts were B bodies (and heavier). For the most part, more rigid safety standards made the A-body Darts heavier over time. Door side crash supports (68 or 69), shock absorbing bumpers (73 & up), larger tires, wheels and brakes, etc.
Your 68 Post is probably one of the lighter cars, 1/4 mile racers tend to like them (although they may have been lighter because the Posts usually had fewer options than the Hardtops). Your Post seems to have been better equipped than most, guessing by the optional stainless trim around the side windows (probably part of an option package??).

Basically they did get heavier over the years - similarly equipped.
According to NHRA shipping weights, 1975 had the heaviest A-bodies. 1976 got just a little bit lighter, but that's not counting the Feather Duster and Dart Lite. Those were a few hundred lbs lighter but were 6 cyl only and had limited 1976-only production.
Door crash bars were introduced in 1972 or 1973.
1973 Sports & Dusters had regular bumper brackets front & rear.
1974 Sports and Dusters got shock absorber bumper brackets on the rear only.
1975 Sports and Dusters got the shock absorber bumper brackets added to the front also.
Seat belts added a few pounds as they got more complicated over the years and added shoulder belts.
While the late 60's strippers were pretty lite, the early '70's were close and had the advantage of bigger rear wheelwells in the Dusters, demons and Sports.
Of course, as you start replacing OEM 6 cyl. related parts with V-8 engines and heavier duty trans, rear, brakes, etc, the weight goes up.

Yeah, I was just a bit curious. Here is what my 68 Dart had for options, not much (from mymopar.com):
MOLDINGS: 14: Sill Mouldings 43: Unknown Option 78: Wheel Lip Mouldings
ABC OPTIONS: R1: AM Radio S1: Air Conditioning X1: Tinted Glass (all) Y6: Black Vinyl Top
abc OPTIONS: m6: Driver's Outside Remote Operated Mirror
The stainless trim may be that 43 code. I haven't been able to find out what it is.
I was also curious with regards to the 63-66 Darts, because they seem to be a lot smaller then the 67-76's. How much of a difference do you think they are in weight? 200-300 lbs? Just trying to learn a little more each day.

The 63-66 A's will easily come in at or below 3000lbs and iirc the 63-66 valiants had a shorter wheelbase (than the darts) which would make them I would think lighter than the darts (not sure where the 64-66 barracuda's weighed in at)

I'm wondering how close the actual weight of the car was compared to what was put on the title ? I have a 1974 Scamp that came with a slant 6, 8 1/4 rear axle, ps, pb, auto trans, and A/C. Title says 2750#. Seems like it's on the light side for a 74. I'll never know what it actually was because now it has a 8 3/4, 727, sb stroker, aluminum heads, intake, and radiator, with headers.
