What do you do for rollcage paint.

The car is already painted so I did not want to spray bomb it.

Thoughts Any Pictures?

Thanks

Get the hammer/textured paint and some foam brushes. Unless you want that smooth clean paint look.

One day I will have something cool here.

What brand is a good one for the hammer type paint?

It's a lot of masking with whatever you do, but you have options:
1. Touch-up gun (small spray gun) & auto paint
2. Rattle can in textured or hammered or whatever
I like to do something that matches or works with the interior and isn't too difficult to touch up later; for example, I shot the cage in my B5/B7 interior in a low-gloss B7 color.
You'll also need a lot of light, to make sure you properly cover all the tubes before you unmask the car.

3" high density foam roller makes quick work on a rollcage. No cleanup, just throw it away.

Call Fast Yeti,,,,

I think he had his done with a brush on material,,looks real nice,,,and looks very durable....

Maybe he has a picture of it,,,or can tell you what they used.

I would brush it on,,,instead of spray bombing it...

I have used a product called POR 15.You brush it on and it lays out like glass and is as tough as nails.
I believe I got it from Eastwood Co.

i was able to spray bomb my 4 pt cage without making a mess by using a big piece of cardboard to mask the headliner & the sides. you have to use a quality brand spray bomb for best results & the vaccuum nozzle sucking the overspray away. it's faster & better finish than a brush.

I used the hammered paint too, but had better results with a cheap regular brush.
