I want to redrill a set of magnum heads so I can use a LA style intake. Any one know what the angle of the bolt holes are in an LA head? I have looked and the are not straight or 90 deg to the surface. I have access to a milling machine.

Thanks this is a great board for info.

Somewhere on cyberspace someone at one time had a jig that I think he was sharing with others. Maybe someone else can remember.

I found it, but it's no longer available.

Thanks Robert. Thats what I need.
I have heard of people redrilling the intake but that sounds like a bad ideal to me. Wouldnt the bolt head be in a bind being on an angle?

You'd think it would b. Way back I rented the "jig" when it was in circulation and several of the holes were a bit off & I just figured I got in a hurry (I was hot/tired that day) as I never read of anyone else having a prob w it and maybe I was bearing down on it a bit heavy. Awhile back on here someone posted how to for a simpler jig to do one hole at a time. Me I've given up on figuring out the search function EDIT now I get ya on the angle, for a bit I was thinking of the angle of the LA head/intake which WOULD b matched, not sure where my mind went on that one & I'm going to try drilling a SB street dominator intake to fit stock (not redrilled) mag heads using the torque to yield OE type vertical bolts & I'm gonna make some spacers cut at an angle to go under the bolt head to take care of the angle diff & spot face the intake bolt hole bosses down till the thread engagement depth for those magnum head bolts is correct.
