Anybody out there use this stuff as an undercoating?I'm interested if it will stand up to life under a car.Is it waterproof?I'm sure it does fine in the interior, but what about on the exterior underside?Any input would be great. Thanks

I too am curious about this as I am pretty certain I will use this product on my build.....soooooomuch easier than cutting and gluing the matt products and I will be able to reach areas I would not be able to get to with matt products.

While my car was at the bodyshop, I had lizard skin sprayed on my floor, doors and ceiling. There is no chance that it would stand up to being used as undercoating, it chips and comes off real easy. Actually it really doesn't do much sound deadening either.. I ended up putting some foil backed butyl deadener and foam over top of it. Haven't had it on the road yet though.
