I can't seem to find the answer in the search but I know I have seen it mentioned here before. What are the best paints available in a spray can that look good to re-do the wheels and centers on a 70 raleye wheel? Please show some finished results and any hints to the prep would also be appreciated. Thanks.

Krylon Dull Aluminum is not anywhere close to the correct color. I used some on my Ram truck wheels last fall and I would say it is way too bright. It was OK on my driver truck, but it will be apparent it is the wrong color on vintage wheels.

Eastwood offers a generic argent silver for wheels in an aerosol, but I have not used it.

Bill, is the wheel paint that Frank B sells in quarts the lacquer stuff or is it something else now?

I used Dpli-color Chysler silver onver my dark ones..looks ok..Its a laquer..put her on slow and stay back
