shoe w short lining goes to front, long one to rear. The return springs (that angle up to the anchor at 12 o'clock, the front pri one goes on the anchor b 4 the secondary one (it'll function either way but it's proper procedure). On the short barrel (holddown) springs on the brake nails (1 per shoe halfway down the side) the 2 dime sized washers, the convex sides go into the springs. B 4 you start pull the spring back from the end of the E brake cable coming into the B plate & hook it into the E brake lever (easier to do now)

If your gonna work on your old car, then you gotta have factory service manuel. I bet you can find one on E bay?

Best picture I have handy, 11" brakes on my 71. Should be the same as 72.
