I have a 69 Roadrunner w/Hemi 4 speed tranny. I purchased a Dana 60 and don't have it in the car yet but want to order a new driveshaft for this set-up, it's the same as a stock Hemi w/Dana. The custom builder will not fabricate a driveshaft without these measurements.


The Dana 60 I have has a longer "snout" than the 8 3/4 I'm replacing.

Would anyone have measuements of a NOS driveshaft for this?

1) Car must be a Plymouth not Dodge.(Wheelbase is different)

2) I need measurements from the rear transmission seal to center of the UJoint Cap, Dana 60 yoke.

Car must be on ground for this.

3) I need center of front UJoint cap to center of rear UJoint cap measurement.

4) Total overall length of the driveshaft out of car would be nice (farthest point to farthest point)

5) I'd would do this myself but the car is in winter storage and the Dana 60 is not in car yet. I want the driveshaft available when installing.

i can't tell you the exact length but any local driveshaft/rearend and quite probably 4x4 repair shop would have access to that information. my recomendation is to have it made locally and make sure to get it balanced. this is what i did and it has held up very well!
