Has anyone run the roller rocker setup being sold by the fellow from Uxbridge Canada? He sells complete rocker gear on ebag. Stuff looks nice but would like some feedback on quality, oiling and durability.
Thanks

I talked to him last year and he said he had 300+ systems being used and had never had one returned. I'm still really skeptical!!!

People have talked about them before on here.
The general consensus I got was for street and very light racing they're probably fine.

If you gonna seriously race get better ones.

For what it costs to build a Hemi why try to buy the cheapest rockers?
Do you really want to take a chance on parts you're not sure about?

That being said I picked up a set of the Dick Landy roller rockers for my 572 Hemi.

I found a new set of Landy's for what the cheap ones cost, I just had to be patient to get a deal.

Kayse can't keep up at all now. lol

I looked at his add also, the pictures looked great as did the price, I Looked at his feed back and picked one and sent a e-mail . The response back was similar to what you hear of INDY. When a problem comes up as some thing did, he didn't go into the detail, they acted like they never heard of him before. That was enough to delete him from my save this seller.

it's ok to butt heads, just don't do it with a butthead

I used these on my street/strip RoadRunner and after about 200 street miles, .550 solid cam, they wore the roller bearings out. Went to run the valves and after seeing everything loosened a little...
I did email him and he said take a picture. I put stage 5's on that I had...

Your comments are appreciated by all who are interested in this product. I'm building a Hemi Dart with a big cam for a strip/street brawler and cant afford to buy anything twice! I have one set of modified stock rockers that work so they are going on. I started this car several years ago, bought the big stuff back when money was coming in steady, now my budget is small so I'm being extra carefull. Thank you for sharing your experience.
I had some experience with a 528 Mopar Crate Hemi, my friend bought one and it came with Landy Rollers, the rollers didnt roll and got flat spots after some run in time on a Dyno. Dealing with Mopar was like talking to the wall! Landy said talk with Mopar. We swapped them out for stock rockers and its still running good.

Thanks for your insights there ssdacuda, that's basically what I figured after seeing pics of them. Cheapo made in china + roller bearings = bad news. I noticed the same guy also sells a stock replacement rocker set, perhaps with those having less to go wrong they *may* be usable. But not as likely to trust the guy if his rollers fall apart on a .550 lift solid cam.

stock rockers are more than acceptable with lift under .700 I have used narrow pads without any problems in 800 hp motors. In many cases roller rockers for street use are overkill.
