I would imagine you need the factory tuffwheel/rim blow adapter, had the splines base like a regular steering wheel, the body, then the 3 studs to mount the wheel with the small lug nuts.

I believe Grant offers an adaptor. Its for use with their repop tuff wheel but would probably work with an original. Have a look at their web site.

I bought my adapter at the Carlisle swap meet. There were bunches of them. I used it on a new Tuff Wheel I bought from BE & A. I put this on my '72 Charger.

guys, take in mind the 70s columns were bigger diameter 'cause the new ign switch location. Original tuff/rimblow wheels adapters are made to this new diameter since they floated on in 70s

there is not exist original adapters to 69 and earliers columns, will need an aftermarket one.

It is possible but you need to do some grinding (not much). Check this thread: http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,40107.0.html

I run a tuff wheel on my 69 Dart and what was said earlier about the earlier columns being smaller is correct. I have no problem with the mis-match as having the tuff wheel on over shadows the difference

416 stroker from Nick at Compu-flow. 11.14 in full street trim. Seems like a new best every time out.
