How much taller is a M1 or Indy 440-1 intake for a 440 than the Eddy RPM intake?

I am currently chosing a hood scoop for an extra hood that I picked up for my 70 Charger RT. It had already been cut for clearance of a tunnel ram.

Years ago when I had both an RB M1 and a Performer RPM 440 side by side, they looked very close in terms of carb pad height. FWIW, the Victor is about 1" taller at the front of the carb pad than an RB M1 and about 1/2" taller at the rear of the pad.

If you're talking about the Indy 440 MW-size single-plane intake, that's a LOT taller than either of them, even taller than a Victor 440 intake.

The Indy is a lot taller than the M1. If you told me where you wanted it measured I'd go out to the shop and check the Indy for you.

The RPM & M1 are 5.25 tall, the Victor is 6.25 & the ICH 440-2 is 6.75

The 440-2 is a MW port single plane not designed for a stock replacement head.

If you're considering the ICH dual plane it's identical to the RPM at 5.25in tall.

With a 3in hood scoop and drop base air filter any of those should fit.
