There's a guy running around Des Moines with a pro streeted 72 Duster that has his inner fenders cut out and the shock mounts are just hangin' in the breeze. I shudder every time I see that car.

As far as using the saving weight argument, has any one weighed the aprons & core support vs all the tubing going back in? Not looking for any drama just food for thought




The couple of tubes weigh much less than the stock
set up... but you need to understand what that medal
was put in there for... some of its for structure but some
is to keep the mud and stuff off the engine and just
seal off the engine compartment... now days they
use plastic for the mud guards
