I run BCP7ES's (#5030) in my Eddie-headed 496. I would foul out with anything 6 or under. 7's stayed NICE and clean, looking perfect after 21 dyno pulls.

The higher the number the colder the plug though?

Those NGK 11's are way to cold my friend. Unless you are running 14:1 and about 800hp!
Lower the Number on NGK= Hotter Higher the Number Champion= Hotter
Be careful what people say on here. We have a mostly street driven 11:1 440 with Aluminum heads and it runs BCP6ES. I have "the colder" 7's for the strip.
You have to know your compression and have good oil/blow by management.
