Has anybody used one of these new cowl panels? I was wondering if the fit and finish is as good as original or if there are any obvious alignment issues with this piece. I also see there is a lower cowl half available. I have a used one but it does need several hours of patch welding and the spot weld holes are like 3/8" diameter that will need to be filled. I was wondering if the used panel is worth the trouble or should I go for a new repro panel? Any input here would be much appreciated. Thanks

I contacted a company called all metals direct and they have both pieces in stock now. They told me that they are not affiliated with Goodmark and they do all their own tooling. I also called Goodmard and they only have the cowl top and told me the bottom piece would be coming soon. So I guess we have two vendors popping them with two different sets of tooling. I was wondering if we had some feedback here regarding any of the items or the folks making them?

There were some minor issues with them (AMD) and I think they will be a better match for a 71-74 car..you should read the post on cudachallenger.com under the body shop forum.
