Get to digging and start making calls. I got a tall deck W-9 intake from the Dodge / Chrysler dealer in Roseville , Mi. and I am pretty sure that it was the last one on the planet. Get the part number you want and call any dealer. They can tell you if any dealer in the country is showing one in inventory. If they aren't performance oriented and ebay savvy , you might get lucky and find a nice deal.

I just had 2 more 48* Tall deck Siamese R3's delivered a couple hours ago... (both spoken for) As of the other day there were 13 in the Warren Warehouse. So blocks are available...
I think there are 2 of those 772 Tall deck W9 manifolds left.

Last time I talked to Russ at Indy he said that he had about 80 of the Mopar small block race blocks on hand. Not sure what all he had, but it sounded like he had a good selection.

The ones they got from Cummins as Raw castings & machined in house were all Non Siamese unfortunately... But yes, for someone who does'nt mind a non Siamese version, they have a pile of them.

I bought that tall deck W9 manifold, when they were approx $200 dealer net. They literally jumped +%75 with one price tape load.

Given all the bs block and high buck, small block stepchild head conundrum combinations. My next motor will either be a 11.50 360 type deal, OR a 500" LSX. Screw it, it's too much work to stay LA. Maybe Ike Hamma was 20 years ahead of the time, with his "Correct Connection" Daytona. Flame away. Who cares. Over and out.
I hear ya, but dont crap on my thread. Buy your chevy and call it a day.

I dropped 425.00 on mine a month ago , and felt good about it. List is 535.00. Not quite sheet metal territory , but close enough to make the decision easier if your pockets are deep enough. I should have my head examined for getting involved with this kind of build in the first place. But it's too late to turn back now.

I don't feel so bad paying $150 for a low deck intake then...
They are available for around 250.00 new still. Mancini had them on closeout a while back for a little cheaper. That and spacers isn't a bad option , but the runners are considerably smaller on the tall deck manifold and will work better for what I am up to. Better than throwing more $$$ at my head porter to tame the short deck piece anyway.
