How about installing a drain hose ffrom the catch tank back into the motor, a gravity feed design with a real light one way check valve, say three or four pounds of vacume like a PVC valve or something like that
I shoot for about 12" of vac so if you had a valve that would open at 4" you would basically have a vac leak coming in via the puke tank

I pull my vacuum right bank(even side 2,4,6,8)of the valve cover. Notice where I have my pop off valve. That ended my problems with it blowing a fine mist of oil out the filter on the tank.
