4.56 would be 10.9% deeper but dont know if it'd be as simple as 6350 + 10.9%= 7045 RPM

Thanks for the kind words, kudakidd! It's a race only car. I sure hope it doesn't jump to 7 grand. Just don't want to spin it that high. Going to make the change, so I'll just have to let it be.

I must have totally lost it then. My latest project (ya I know, I said the 68 Charger was my last project...) is a 67 GTX with a dana 60 that has 4:56's in it...Yes, it will be a street car and may make a few passes down the 1/8th strip this coming summer at Winterport Dragway. I also have a clean 66 Belvedere with an real nice 8 3/4 that may end up in the GTX. The GTX was purchased for the wife for all the years she's put up with my Mopar madness. I do remember way back when I was 16 and had a 1970 Charger R/T with a 4:10 dana 60. That was hands down the funnest car I ever owned. Smoked up lots of L-60's with that car! Now I'm 50 and feel like that 16 year old boy all over again.

I have 4:10 sure grip in the rear of one of my 70's & driven it on the street like this for almost 20 years. I hardly ever take it on the freeway anyway. I would hate to see how much I have spent on gas but its worth it. I have been thinking lately about dropping it down to a 3:23 sure grip just for doing some freeway cruisin.

The fact that you are in the WPP is probably why you have managed to live as long as you have
Touche' Bob. But you did notice the smiley after my reply, right? Gasoline is $3.25 a gallon here, and I was indicating that you're not gonna get good gas mileage w/ 4.56's.
