I rebuilt the coupler that attaches the shaft to the steering box about 20,000 miles ago, and it seems really loose again. I am running 32x11.50 tires and do a little wheeling with it, does anyone know of a fix that won't wear out so fast?

Borgeson makes a replacement steering shaft with a U joint instead of the coupler. I've heard nothing but good things about these. I'll be getting one for my truck soon as well.

Thanks guys, I will have to save up and get one. For now, it looks like another $18.00 rebuild kit until I can afford the real deal!

Both my D150 trucks have them. One truck has 180,000+ miles on the Borg with no issues. They definately take up the slack of the 'rag' joint.
