Just picked up a 24' enclosed that has new Duro 225-75/15 ST radial trailer tires on it (6 ply). Anyone have any experience with these tires? I did a search on this forum, but didn't find anything.

Thanks!

Duro is a chinese tire.NOthing wrong with them but I prefer a 225 to have an 8 ply rating. Most come this way.
Many people have run many different tires with good results. Most failures I see are from underinflation and old dry rotted tires.
I sell more Maxxis than any other brand.

I don't like supporting the Chinese, I like buying American.

The last 16 American Goodyear trailer tires has served me well, over 150K of towing without a failure.

17K miles last summer alone.

I did buy 4 of them recently and "made in USA" was on the sidewall. I have heard some Goodyears are made overseas.

I hope those 15 don't give you trouble, be sure to keep the tire pressure 10lbs over what the sidewall says. Because your gonna need all the safety margin you can get with 15s and a 24' enclosed.

Been running my tires over inflated for 15 years now and have had no failures.

I buy the same size trailer tires as yours but I get the E rated tires, I hate tire troubles Your always(out here anyways) 300 miles from nowhere when the darn tires blows out My 24Ft Pace weighs right at 8600 on both axles and it adds 1000 to 1200 lbs onto the truck weight when it is going to the track My E rated tires call for 80 lbs cold, I run them at 85 lbs cold to start with, I have check them warmed up, 300 miles down the road in the spring with 85F air temps. and they gain right at 5 lbs I have blowned out C,D and E rated tires Towmaster and Carlisle as well as a couple of Goodyear Marathons Most of those tires had been on one of the car trailers for two years or more and I lived in the Mojave Desert back then, some of them didn't have 5000 miles on them when they went out Buy the best ones you can get and pray for good luck
