A Buddy, Not me Hole sawed a hole thats to big for the Speedo that he bought to a Almost finished aluminum Dash. The Speedo falls through the hole.

Are there any adapters out there to fix this.?

Or does anyone have any Ideas for a easy fix. I think the Speedos circle is 3.25 so the hole is just slightly bigger then that.

The speedos a Digital from Summit witch he needs since were pulling a magnetic pulse off the driveshaft.

Im thinking just a oversize washer of some sort , but wanted to know if theres a easy fix for someting like this. thanks , mike

when people were making their own, a few recommended pvc. since they come in rather large sizes.
see if you can find one the gauge fits in.
then you can either shave it down to fit in the hole, or widen it out a bit. Epoxy it in, or something so it holds. Spray paint it silver first and might not notice it.

or have someone tig weld it.

Thanks for your response Andrewh. I'll check out the PVC options. I would of never considered that as a possible avenue for a fix. Thanks, I'll check into it. mike
