If the earlier springs are the same legnth you'd need all the associated hardware {front hanger, shock plate, u bolts, shackles, etc..} to make it an easy swap...But even so...Since you're going from an isolated rear set-up {with the rubber components between the springs/rear} you'd still need to change out the rear housing spring perches to the old style which would require welding...

not really... you can simply enlarge the hole to the thicker guide studs ( earliers are 5/16", laters are 3/8" ), and add the bushings attached to this studs what inserts into the isolation pads.

Of course if you want to keep the 73 and lates isolation stuff

Now, dunno if the SWs makes some differences. I know 2 doors and 4 doors are the same. Myself, bought new 71/72 Coronet leafs and mounted on my 74 Charger

74s has another detail, the front eye spring bushing is thicker on rubber section, what means the crossing bolt is smaller diameter. That makes difference also on bracket to unibody ( smaller hole ) I simply got the right front eye bushings to match with my 74 brackets

I've always assumed that dumping that horrible islolated rear end set-up went along with the old style spring swap...
