In trying to get the wagon done for Carlisle, looks like my engine will be a el cheapo hone, re-ring and bearing of a 413. It has 10.1 compression. A refresh of the heads, springs, seals etc, and maybe a mild cleanup, and the crane ductile iron rockers. Also using a performer rpm. I'll also be running a 3 inch exhaust with bullet mufflers, as i like LOUD.
Would a Lunati bracket master 2 be a good choice?

Keep in mind it's a 4,400 wagon with 3.91's. I don't mind having to run a 3,000+ stall if need be.

What i'm looking for is good power and an aggressive idle. Not looking to be a killer with this combo, but something that runs good.

My boy has a similar set up in his 3,900lb '58 plymouth and that goes low 12's. only difference is he has a stock bore 440.
thanks.

526 cubes of angry wedge, pushbutton shifted, 9 passenger killer!

My dad has that in his '65 Coronet, here is a short clip of idle, this is a 440, with a performer RPM, 3" exhaust and headers. We run it with a 3000 stall converter:

My dad has run both 3.91 and now 3.73 gears.

The cam has good power around town, and sounds good without being too lumpy. We have not run it in the 1/4 mile though, I'm thinking we should run 12 something.
