The Standard Catalog of Chrysler says 7,789 4-door HDTP's were built.

You'd be better off asking in the resto or general section, street rods generally are pre 49, but we usually can cover any flat head powered Mopar, which a 61 Newport isn't.
They say there are no such thing as a stupid question. They say there is always the exception that proves the rule. Don't be the exception.

i know its not a hemi cuda.hell its a newport.but it is a really nice one owner car.i was just wanting to know production #s.thanks
Sorry, I wasn't trying to be a Smart A. I don't have anything close to a Hemi cuda either! I would still suggest contacting Chrysler Historical. They have sort of survived all the ownership swaps, but any business would help them remain viable. Too bad there isn't records for the 68-74 stuff, they would be busy! The Imperial club is a good web resource for info. Even if they don't have stuff for your model, they do have a lot of mechanical stuff.

I don't think any of use were trying to be a pain, just trying to point him to better resources. To be honest, I don't know of many street rodders that are into the numbers game, I ain't.
