Hi gang,can i remove dash as one unit or do I need to piece it out first,windshield in or out 68 b body

You can take it out pretty much whole, but the windshield needs to be out. There are about 4-5 screws holding the dash in that are under the lower part of the seal.


Its not primer its perma gray.

and one behind each kick panel. Just loosen the lower ones first, then take the top ones out and the dash will swivel down, allowing access to disconnect all the wiring and HVAC stuff without having to lie on your back.

Dash pad or frame? The dash pad should be able to be removed from the underside with a few items removed for acesss without removing the windshield. The Dash frame is bolted underneath the windshield.
