Im getting ready to install the carpet in my Cuda and I'm not sure how the wiring from the harness on the left side ties into the seat electrical connectors and the seat belt. Does anyone have any photos?

I do not have any pics. There are no specific anchors for the wires. They just run wild under the carpet. The orange wire to the console shift lamp was taped down in two spots under the carpet but again not in a real specific place. Just keep it out from under the seat tracks. I taped the seat belt wires down to make sure I did not bolt the seat down on them. The wires to the driver belt was the tightest fit. The passenger side seat switch and belt switch were no problem. I probably misrouted the drivers side so you do not want to follow my advice on that one. Hope someone else can help.

I was also wondering the same thing. I'd like to see a pic of the wires in place.

There are clips on the floor for the wires. The small holes in your pic are most likely the ones for the clips. They are held on with small philips head screws. The console light wires were taped to the floor with black/dark gray cloth tape like what was said above.

If you need a pic let me know. I can take a pic of the origonal clips(still in place) on my Challenger.

The clips are just those rubber dipped sheet metal strips. They should be super easy to make.

The philips screws have a small built-in washer. Total head size is probably 1/4".

AHH ! Foregive me highjacking this - I've seen your quarter glas.
How do you remove that front upper bolt (with the "big hat", where that spring is) from the glass carrier? To replace the plastic glider under it??

After all these years having a 440 I realized that this means having an attitude... and a budget.

That's a good question Robert. I took the car apart in the late 90's. Why do you think the quarter glass tracks aren't installed yet?

I'm not looking forward to taking them apart and getting them back in. I'll worry about it in the spring.

I think they are usually so dirty that no one that has them out will just put them back in without a try to take that stuff apart for cleaning. And then it's a good idea to replace the nylon gliders - I think. I don't have those parts yet: For once I want to find out BEFORE if I can manage to replace them.

BTW: The service manual says that there should be a screw as in the two other holes.

Can we continue this thread and show the clips for the entire wiring harness for a cuda?
