Hopefully I am there next year. My car went 6.33/9.80 1.54 60 ft with pump gas and ez efi fuel injection. Then I went with xfi injection setup because the ez efi was ok wot but street driving my motor was to much for it to work with. With the xfi I went 6.14 in the 1/8th with a 1.43 60 ft, and my fuel energy numbers were on the rich side wot. I installed a flex fuel sensor after I went to the track and the e-85 was .76 fuel energy instead of .68 like I figured it was so I was running rich down the track. I figured it could have went 6.0x somthing, but now I am getting a set of 572-13's so we will see next year if I get into the 5's. I am sure if I changed gears from 3.23's to 3.73 I would pick up some as well. But right now just lots of torque and highway gears.

I can't get over how simply awesome your car and combonation is!

My Challenger has gone 5.95@114 so far at 3300lbs just footbraking. All motor stock frame rails with just a mini-tub and ladderbar/coilovers. The cam is small for the motor but I run on a smallish tire so I can't put down as much power as I want to. It's a 499 with cnc EZ-1 heads, a .640 roller, 14to1 compression on 110 Sunoco, Indy 440-2 intake with a Quickfuel 950. This motor is very reliable and is just a bracket motor. Running 4.30 gears and a 727.

Well, as of last time out, my leafspringed, cal-traced, mini tubbed car with only a roll bar went consistint 6.20 on pump gas, next time out it will/should dip into the high 5's... So no, I dont think the car has to be backhalfed, ladder barred or caged to hit a high 5...

I wear a seat belt. I use condoms. I'll stick to NHRA rules (even though I hate their current pony show). They didn't make the rules for no reason. Rather be safe than sorry.

I have a local track that I can go to also, but yes I do track rentals too... $100 to make 30 passes VS $25 for 3 passes ??? seems like a no brainer to me... besides I love thrashing on back halfed, fully caged, stickered up, wheelie barred, chute hangin off the back show ponies... with my "street car"... Id rather have a fast car that looks slow than a slow car that looks fast...

IMO your car has far from sleeper looks and it should run what it does.
