can any of you guys running 5's with a stock chassis car post up your specs? Im working with a 68 valiant, and starting to build a 4.25 stroke RB. Looking for ideas to gain some time. Thanks in advance!

At 5.7 thats like a 8.90 in the 1/4 which will require a full cage so you might as well build a chassis

I would be putting a cage in it for sure. Just curious as to if anyone is running these times without a full tube chassis, and what kind of motor they are running.
Hopefully I am there next year. My car went 6.33/9.80 1.54 60 ft with pump gas and ez efi fuel injection. Then I went with xfi injection setup because the ez efi was ok wot but street driving my motor was to much for it to work with. With the xfi I went 6.14 in the 1/8th with a 1.43 60 ft, and my fuel energy numbers were on the rich side wot. I installed a flex fuel sensor after I went to the track and the e-85 was .76 fuel energy instead of .68 like I figured it was so I was running rich down the track. I figured it could have went 6.0x somthing, but now I am getting a set of 572-13's so we will see next year if I get into the 5's. I am sure if I changed gears from 3.23's to 3.73 I would pick up some as well. But right now just lots of torque and highway gears.
