I've always wanted a '65 Barracuda, and one of my favorite cars of all time is the '65 "Hemi-Cuda" that Pat Foster & the "slippin' twins" (Bob & Don, aka B&M Trans) built; first one flipped @ Lions with McEwen up, 2nd one ran for awhile, and ended up at Garlits' museum last I saw it.

I had a 72 Demon scoop I had enlarged the opening 100% and raised about 2". It looked great IMO. Problem is forward facing hood mounted scoops try to peel off at 170MPH. I would like to run the Tri Aero scoop mounted to the carb but need a new Carbon Fiber flat hood. VFN does not want to make Carbon Fiber at this time. What do you guys think of that scoop on this car? Leon Career best 8.02 @ 169 at 3050# and 10" tires small block power.

I have seen several hundred 65's and only two come to mind that had the body change and were still 65's. Square bumpers and flat grill usually a 66. Although I saw one first hand that was a 65 baby blue with square backup lights, bumpers, and flat grill as well as the 66 dash and the car was a 65. The other 65" that looked 66 was the Hurst Hemi under glass. Career best 8.02 @ 169 at 3050# and 10" tires small block power.

sam64 pro stock Joined: Dec 2008 Posts: 1,285 okla.	the first hemi underglass was a 65,in no way a 66.the 66 was on the match race-show circuit. b1fish540,just makin someting to take to local car shows,the hemi will just be a dummy,the car is a /6.anyone have any skinny 4 inch pattern cragers?
